The white Sennheiser Memory Mic is a wireless and wearable omnidirectional condenser microphone designed to deliver reliable, high-quality audio capture and easy integration with mobile devices for journalists, vloggers, presenters, and more. It records and stores up to four hours of 16-bit / 48 kHz audio to its internal storage, while the built-in, USB-rechargeable battery keeps it running without an external power source.

After connecting the Memory Mic to your smartphone via Bluetooth, you can take advantage of convenient recording, transferring, and one-touch audio/video synchronization through the downloadable Sennheiser app. Once you’ve used the app to start recording video on your smart phone and audio on the Memory Mic, you don’t need to maintain the Bluetooth connection between the mic and the phone; this allows you to position the mic as close to your subject as necessary for optimum audio results, even if that’s beyond the range of your Bluetooth connection. After recording, use the app to sync the audio and video via Bluetooth. 

The lightweight, compact, and rugged housing can be easily attached to clothing with the Memory Mic’s magnetic clip. Safely contained in the body is the omnidirectional condenser element, which offers high SPL handling and a frequency response of 100 Hz to 20 kHz. The Memory Mic includes a USB cable for simple and fast charging.

Easy Operation
Record, store, and sync audio in four easy steps:

  • Download and launch the Sennheiser Memory Mic application
  • Sync the Memory Mic to your device using Bluetooth, and clip it to your shirt
  • When you’re ready to record, start recording the video using the Sennheiser app
  • Sync the audio recorded on the Memory Mic to your video using the Sennheiser app
Wireless Connectivity
The Memory Mic connects via Bluetooth to your smartphone for initial setup and then wirelessly records audio free of drop-outs, at any distance from the phone. It records up to four hours of audio at 16-bit / 48 kHz resolution to the internal storage while the built-in rechargeable battery provides untethered operation.
One-Touch Audio/Video Synchronization
After recording, use the Sennheiser app to transfer the audio to your smartphone and synchronize it with the video without audio/video offsets.
Memory Mic App Version 1.7 Updates
  • The audio recovery feature allows recovery of up to four hours of audio from the Memory Mic in the event of a crash or other kind of data loss.
  • With multi-user mode disabled, other smartphones cannot connect to a running session and cause dropouts.
  • With multi-user mode enabled, recording can only be stopped by the master device.
  • Exported file names use correct timestamps.
  • The number of clicks in sync and initialization screens has been reduced to optimize the workflow.
  • The automatic End Session alert has been removed when Memory Mic is in range (in the recording screen) to provide a smoother operation when recording several files.
  • An extra alert has been added on the Clear action to prevent the user from accidentally deleting the memory.

Shipping Policy

Son Sound delivers countrywide (South Africa - not outside the borders of South Africa), at the shipping rates charged in the shopping cart/checkout - depending on the item(s) and order. Please provide your delivery address on checkout. All deliveries will be booked on economy road freight, which means 2-5 business days delivery from date of order - depending on your location.

Refund Policy

Due to the vast number of products on our store, it is not possible to keep al prices and availability up to date. Therefore, customers are prompted to first confirm prices and availability before placing an order and making an online payment.

SON SOUND will either give a store credit, exchange or refund on any online purchase within 7 days under the following terms and conditions:

  • If a product\'s price has changed or not available and an order was placed and paid online without the customer confirming the latest price and availability, SON SOUND will refund the customer the full paid amount MINUS 3.5% up to 5% (depending on the payment method the customer used) - which is the service fee charged by our payment gateway provider.
  • If the product was delivered and the customer is not happy with the product, the product must be returned at the customer\'s expense, upon which SON SOUND will accept the return provided that the product packaging has not been severely damaged and the product has not been used, installed or show physical damages. Products must be returned in its original packaging. Three and a half percent (3.5%) of the purchase price will be deducted if payment was made online as payment gateway service fee.
  • Software products cannot be exchanged or refunded.
  • Products will not be refunded or exchanged due to incompatibility. Please check compatibility information before placing an order.
  • Credits, exchanges or refunds can only be granted after the product has been returned and inspected (and tested) by trained technical staff to determine if the condition of the returned product grants a credit, refund or exchange. Items cannot be credited, exchanged or refunded before this procedure has been completed. Depending on the product and our supplier, it may take any time from 5-20 working days to process.
  • A delivery fee will be charged again whenever the product is replaced with the same or another.
  • If an out-of-box defect can be determined or any defects covered under the manufacturer\'s warrantee, such warrantee will be honored.

SON SOUND adheres to the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa and will base any return on the statutes of the Act.
