On stage or in the studio, Ethernet-MIDI capability means you are no longer constrained by cable length or limited USB ports. Stack multiple interfaces and computers on a network for ultimate scalability and flexibility.

With mioXM, you’re able to streamline and expand your MIDI setup, and do it faster, better, and in creative and exciting new ways.

What makes mioXM unique? 
More connectivity than you can shake a stick at.
Network connectivity means MIDI wherever you need it. Regular USB connectivity limits you to keeping your interface within 15ft of your computer. Network / Ethernet connectivity gives you up to 330ft / 100m connection between you and your interface. Drop an interface in every room of your studio, or place an interface virtually anywhere in a venue.

Network RTP-MIDI is not bound by some of the same restrictions as USB-MIDI.  

Easy renaming of network ports –  have them show up the way you want them to in your DAW. 

The unique network technology is as easy to use as USB. Enjoy your new-found MIDI power without extra headaches.

Use your 12 network MIDI ports anyway you want. Connect each of the 12 RTP-MIDI sessions to any combination of physical or virtual
I/O ports. Almost any combination is possible. 

Configuring mioXM
Introducing a new version of Auracle software: taking the simplicity of workflow that the original Auracle introduced, but now with added deep configuration functionality. All the deep configuration options you asked for: MIDI merging, filtering, remapping, and deep routing are all there and super easy to use.

Presets onboard:
Need to configure your MIDI setup in multiple ways? No problem!
Store and recall up to 4 presets directly on the interface, without even needing a computer!
Easily recall unique MIDI routing, filter and merging setups to preset scenes, all from the front of mioXM.

Shipping Policy

Son Sound delivers countrywide (South Africa - not outside the borders of South Africa), at the shipping rates charged in the shopping cart/checkout - depending on the item(s) and order. Please provide your delivery address on checkout. All deliveries will be booked on economy road freight, which means 2-5 business days delivery from date of order - depending on your location.

We are committed to our customers in providing great value, quality, advice and service. We will always endeavor to offer our customers the best price and offer to match any written quote cheaper than our price for the exact same product, not older than 7 days given by a local company (or as advertised on their website), provided that we have such product in stock at that time.

Refund Policy

Due to the vast number of products on our store, it is not possible to keep al prices and availability up to date. Therefore, customers are prompted to first confirm prices and availability before placing an order and making an online payment.

SON SOUND will either give a store credit, exchange or refund on any online purchase within 7 days under the following terms and conditions:

  • If a product\'s price has changed or not available and an order was placed and paid online without the customer confirming the latest price and availability, SON SOUND will refund the customer the full paid amount MINUS 3.5% up to 5% (depending on the payment method the customer used) - which is the service fee charged by our payment gateway provider.
  • If the product was delivered and the customer is not happy with the product, the product must be returned at the customer\'s expense, upon which SON SOUND will accept the return provided that the product packaging has not been severely damaged and the product has not been used, installed or show physical damages. Products must be returned in its original packaging. Three and a half percent (3.5%) of the purchase price will be deducted if payment was made online as payment gateway service fee.
  • Software products cannot be exchanged or refunded.
  • Products will not be refunded or exchanged due to incompatibility. Please check compatibility information before placing an order.
  • Credits, exchanges or refunds can only be granted after the product has been returned and inspected (and tested) by trained technical staff to determine if the condition of the returned product grants a credit, refund or exchange. Items cannot be credited, exchanged or refunded before this procedure has been completed. Depending on the product and our supplier, it may take any time from 5-20 working days to process.
  • A delivery fee will be charged again whenever the product is replaced with the same or another.
  • If an out-of-box defect can be determined or any defects covered under the manufacturer\'s warrantee, such warrantee will be honored.

SON SOUND adheres to the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa and will base any return on the statutes of the Act.

Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy

Orders for any product cannot be cancelled once it is processed.
