Description

The CPD1600 is part of Wharfedale Pro’s latest line of professional power amplifiers driving earth shaking audio from the front of your venue, all the way to the back.

For using in stereo the amplifier delivers 400W RMS per channel at 8 Ohms and 620W RMS per channel at 4 Ohms; a suitable power for small to medium sized complete PA systems. In bridged mode at 4 Ohms the amplifier generates 1600W RMS, perfect for powering a subwoofer integrated into a larger PA system for example.

Working in stereo, parallel and bridged modes CPD1600 is built for a multitude of sound system formations. Brand new class AB topology has resulted in a dynamic, high headroom amp made for propelling your loudspeakers through thick and thin with complete clarity.

Precision Control

Large rotary dials accurately adjust gain levels, and you will know when to do so from the clear and simple front panel. A 4 segment led formation displays shows vital power status, level, limit and protect information, keeping the sound engineer in the know.

Protection & Durability

The CPD1600 is rife with technology that offers complete protection for your peace of mind. A built-in switchable limiter allows over 8Vrms signal through without distortion. Additionally it is equipped with thermal, overcurrent, DC and output short protect features. Professional audio equipment is an investment. That is why the adept components of the amplifier are housed within a 2U steel chassis which is universally rack mountable. This hard wearing all-steel casing also features a removable air filter in the front bracket which can be cleaned or replaced easily.

Easy Cleaning

Amplifiers often work in hot and dusty environments and, over time, the fans of an amplifier can easily suck this in. Dirty cooling fans reduce efficiency and can lead to overheating. Its for this reason that we made the CPD series easy to clean. Simply unscrew the front grille, bush off the air filters, and put the grille back on. This easy maintenance means that a CPD amplifier can survive in the most hostile of working environments.

Son Sound delivers countrywide (South Africa - not outside the borders of South Africa), at the shipping rates charged in the shopping cart/checkout - depending on the item(s) and order. Please provide your delivery address on checkout. All deliveries will be booked on economy road freight, which means 2-5 business days delivery from date of order - depending on your location.

Refund Policy

Due to the vast number of products on our store, it is not possible to keep al prices and availability up to date. Therefore, customers are prompted to first confirm prices and availability before placing an order and making an online payment.

SON SOUND will either give a store credit, exchange or refund on any online purchase within 7 days under the following terms and conditions:

If a product\'s price has changed or not available and an order was placed and paid online without the customer confirming the latest price and availability, SON SOUND will refund the customer the full paid amount MINUS 3.5% up to 5% (depending on the payment method the customer used) - which is the service fee charged by our payment gateway provider.
If the product was delivered and the customer is not happy with the product, the product must be returned at the customer\'s expense, upon which SON SOUND will accept the return provided that the product packaging has not been severely damaged and the product has not been used, installed or show physical damages. Products must be returned in its original packaging. Three and a half percent (3.5%) of the purchase price will be deducted if payment was made online as payment gateway service fee.
Software products cannot be exchanged or refunded.
Products will not be refunded or exchanged due to incompatibility. Please check compatibility information before placing an order.
Credits, exchanges or refunds can only be granted after the product has been returned and inspected (and tested) by trained technical staff to determine if the condition of the returned product grants a credit, refund or exchange. Items cannot be credited, exchanged or refunded before this procedure has been completed. Depending on the product and our supplier, it may take any time from 5-20 working days to process.
A delivery fee will be charged again whenever the product is replaced with the same or another.
If an out-of-box defect can be determined or any defects covered under the manufacturer\'s warrantee, such warrantee will be honored.
