Description

Rocking Electric Bass from Ibanez

The Ibanez SR655E 5-string electric bass is a no-nonsense tone machine with wonderful design and quality craftsmanship. Featuring a resonant, lightweight ash body with a satin finish, this bass kicks out stellar bass tone and looks great. The 5-piece jatoba/walnut neck with jatoba fingerboard is incredibly playable and responsive, great for laying down solid grooves. A pair of Nordstrand CND pickups also gives you warm, full bass tone. Sweetwater bassists love CND pickups.

Expertly designed pickups

The Nordstrand CND P and J pickups in the SR655E are designed by renowned pickup builder Carey Nordstrand. These pickups have earned a solid reputation for producing incredibly versatile tone, ranging from warm and clear to gritty and rocking. The 3-way Mid Frequency Switch and EQ Bypass Switch, along with Master Volume Control and Pickup Balance Control give you a massive amount of tone-shaping versatility.

Neck made to play

The 5-piece jatoba/walnut neck with jatoba fingerboard is a beautifully smooth and responsive neck with an SR4 profile, ideal for fast runs, smooth grooves, and chugging pick-driven attack. The 34″ scale length and 24 medium frets on the SR655E are ideal for great feel and tone. In addition, an Accu-cast B505 bridge lends stellar sustain and tone support to any style of play.

Shipping Policy

Son Sound delivers countrywide (South Africa - not outside the borders of South Africa), at the shipping rates charged in the shopping cart/checkout - depending on the item(s) and order. Please provide your delivery address on checkout. All deliveries will be booked on economy road freight, which means 2-5 business days delivery from date of order - depending on your location.

We are committed to our customers in providing great value, quality, advice and service. We will always endeavor to offer our customers the best price and offer to match any written quote cheaper than our price for the exact same product, not older than 7 days given by a local company (or as advertised on their website), provided that we have such product in stock at that time.

Refund Policy

Due to the vast number of products on our store, it is not possible to keep al prices and availability up to date. Therefore, customers are prompted to first confirm prices and availability before placing an order and making an online payment.

SON SOUND will either give a store credit, exchange or refund on any online purchase within 7 days under the following terms and conditions:

  • If a product\'s price has changed or not available and an order was placed and paid online without the customer confirming the latest price and availability, SON SOUND will refund the customer the full paid amount MINUS 3.5% up to 5% (depending on the payment method the customer used) - which is the service fee charged by our payment gateway provider.
  • If the product was delivered and the customer is not happy with the product, the product must be returned at the customer\'s expense, upon which SON SOUND will accept the return provided that the product packaging has not been severely damaged and the product has not been used, installed or show physical damages. Products must be returned in its original packaging. Three and a half percent (3.5%) of the purchase price will be deducted if payment was made online as payment gateway service fee.
  • Software products cannot be exchanged or refunded.
  • Products will not be refunded or exchanged due to incompatibility. Please check compatibility information before placing an order.
  • Credits, exchanges or refunds can only be granted after the product has been returned and inspected (and tested) by trained technical staff to determine if the condition of the returned product grants a credit, refund or exchange. Items cannot be credited, exchanged or refunded before this procedure has been completed. Depending on the product and our supplier, it may take any time from 5-20 working days to process.
  • A delivery fee will be charged again whenever the product is replaced with the same or another.
  • If an out-of-box defect can be determined or any defects covered under the manufacturer\'s warrantee, such warrantee will be honored.

SON SOUND adheres to the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa and will base any return on the statutes of the Act.
