Description

The Sennheiser IE 80 S In-Ear, Noise-Isolating Headphones are designed to offer an audiophile experience in a highly mobile and compact form factor. A reinvention of the IE 80, these earphones provide dynamic drivers that deliver an accurate sonic picture, a clearness of sound, and a wide-ranging frequency response. Aesthetic improvements abound as well, including a stainless-steel design complemented by a red-colored strain relief on the right earphone connector; this allows you to easily distinguish headphones, so you’ll always know which ear is which.

These earphones come with three different types of ear tips to better suit your individual needs. Each type of ear tip is available in small, medium, and large sizes. Ear hooks have been supplied to situate the IE 80 S close to your ear canal to create a seal in the ear, which can reduce ambient noise by as much as 26 dB. This also helps to improve bass response, allowing you to listen at lower volume levels without missing out on the details in your music. You can also use these earphones without the ear hooks.

The earphones come with a tool that allows you to adjust the frequency response to suit your personal taste. A detachable cable provides plenty of slack, connecting to the earphones by means of Sennheiser’s proprietary two-pin connection. The cable terminates in a 3.5mm stereo mini plug to interface with most consumer analog media players. A tool for cleaning the earphones and a hardshell case are included to help keep your headphones in good working condition for years of enjoyment.

This also helps to improve bass response and allows you to listen at lower volume levels without missing out on the details in your music.
Stability
Optional flexible ear hooks are included for a secure fit.

The 3.5mm stereo mini plug offers compatibility with a wide variety of MP3 players, CD players, laptops, tablets, and more.

Shipping Policy

Son Sound delivers countrywide (South Africa - not outside the borders of South Africa), at the shipping rates charged in the shopping cart/checkout - depending on the item(s) and order. Please provide your delivery address on checkout. All deliveries will be booked on economy road freight, which means 2-5 business days delivery from date of order - depending on your location.

Refund Policy

Due to the vast number of products on our store, it is not possible to keep al prices and availability up to date. Therefore, customers are prompted to first confirm prices and availability before placing an order and making an online payment.

SON SOUND will either give a store credit, exchange or refund on any online purchase within 7 days under the following terms and conditions:

  • If a product\'s price has changed or not available and an order was placed and paid online without the customer confirming the latest price and availability, SON SOUND will refund the customer the full paid amount MINUS 3.5% up to 5% (depending on the payment method the customer used) - which is the service fee charged by our payment gateway provider.
  • If the product was delivered and the customer is not happy with the product, the product must be returned at the customer\'s expense, upon which SON SOUND will accept the return provided that the product packaging has not been severely damaged and the product has not been used, installed or show physical damages. Products must be returned in its original packaging. Three and a half percent (3.5%) of the purchase price will be deducted if payment was made online as payment gateway service fee.
  • Software products cannot be exchanged or refunded.
  • Products will not be refunded or exchanged due to incompatibility. Please check compatibility information before placing an order.
  • Credits, exchanges or refunds can only be granted after the product has been returned and inspected (and tested) by trained technical staff to determine if the condition of the returned product grants a credit, refund or exchange. Items cannot be credited, exchanged or refunded before this procedure has been completed. Depending on the product and our supplier, it may take any time from 5-20 working days to process.
  • A delivery fee will be charged again whenever the product is replaced with the same or another.
  • If an out-of-box defect can be determined or any defects covered under the manufacturer\'s warrantee, such warrantee will be honored.

SON SOUND adheres to the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa and will base any return on the statutes of the Act.
