NEXT GENERATION CONTROL.

The top-flight DDJ-RZ is the first professional, native controller for  rekordbox dj, giving you the flexibility to prepare your tracks in rekordbox® and then get plug-and-play performance directly from your laptop.

The controller mirrors the DJ software’s layout precisely to enable intuitive performances. Equipped with a club-quality magnetic crossfader, two USB sound cards and the new Oscillator Sampler – making it a serious performer for the professional booth.

  • INTUITIVE LAYOUT

    The controller’s layout mirrors the software’s GUI, giving you instinctive control of performance features including Hot Cues, Sampler, Slicer, Sound Colour FX, Beat FX, Beat Jump and Pad FX.

  • REKORDBOX DJ

    You get a  rekordbox dj  licence key bundled with this controller. Simply activate your licence key for our DJ software, connect the controller and start DJing.

  • REKORDBOX DVS

    You also get a free licence key for  rekordbox dvsbundled with this controller for highly responsive scratch control with music from your rekordbox library.

  • LARGE ALUMINIUM JOGS

    The DDJ-RZ’s full-sized jog wheels are optimised for a perfect scratch response and you can use Jog Feeling Adjust to set your preferred resistance. The jogs have illuminated cue point markers and an accurate countdown for even greater precision.

  • PERFORMANCE PADS WITH PAD FX

    Hit the 16 back-lit rubber Performance Pads to trigger quantized Hot Cues, Slicer and Sampler, or use the new Pad FX to create multiple FX chains.

  • OSC SAMPLER

    Use the new oscillator sampler to overlay four pre-set sounds – Noise, Sine, Siren and Horn – and modulate the output using the dial. The sampler also gives you the freedom to trigger and manipulate your own samples loaded to the banks in rekordbox dj.

  • SEQUENCER

    Record, play and loop pad routines on the fly.

    Advanced FX

    Trigger rekordbox dj’s quantized Beat FX to the 3 buttons, trigger and twist the dial to manipulate the parameters of each. Get creative with high-quality Sound Colour FX – Space, Jet, Pitch and Filter.

Dual USB ports

Two USB sound cards and ports mean you can hook-up 2 computers at the same time and use the top-loaded A/B switch for seamless DJ transitions.

Robust faders

Our robust Magvel Faders ensure smooth control over long-term use. Two metal shafts support the fader knobs, while the contact-free magnetic system is designed to endure millions of performances.

Needle search

Needle search provides a touch strip for intuitive and fast searches.

Slip Mode

Keep tracks playing muted during live edits such as loop, scratch or reverse. Release the jog wheel and the track comes back at exactly the right place.

Release FX

Seamlessly exit complex FX patterns by selecting vinyl brake, echo or back spin and twisting the dial.

The DDJ-RZ has 6 inputs for ultimate flexibility to connect to CDJs or analogue turntables and use as a stand-alone mixer. You can also connect directly to professional PA equipment thanks to a Booth and 2 Master, plus the 2 MIC inputs have been improved to eliminate distortion.

Shipping Policy

Son Sound delivers countrywide (South Africa - not outside the borders of South Africa), at the shipping rates charged in the shopping cart/checkout - depending on the item(s) and order. Please provide your delivery address on checkout. All deliveries will be booked on economy road freight, which means 2-5 business days delivery from date of order - depending on your location.

We will always endeavor to offer our customers the best price and offer to match any written quote cheaper than our price for the exact same product, not older than 7 days given by a local company (or as advertised on their website), provided that we have such product in stock at that time.

Refund Policy

Due to the vast number of products on our store, it is not possible to keep al prices and availability up to date. Therefore, customers are prompted to first confirm prices and availability before placing an order and making an online payment.

SON SOUND will either give a store credit, exchange or refund on any online purchase within 7 days under the following terms and conditions:

  • If a product\'s price has changed or not available and an order was placed and paid online without the customer confirming the latest price and availability, SON SOUND will refund the customer the full paid amount MINUS 3.5% up to 5% (depending on the payment method the customer used) - which is the service fee charged by our payment gateway provider.
  • If the product was delivered and the customer is not happy with the product, the product must be returned at the customer\'s expense, upon which SON SOUND will accept the return provided that the product packaging has not been severely damaged and the product has not been used, installed or show physical damages. Products must be returned in its original packaging. Three and a half percent (3.5%) of the purchase price will be deducted if payment was made online as payment gateway service fee.
  • Software products cannot be exchanged or refunded.
  • Products will not be refunded or exchanged due to incompatibility. Please check compatibility information before placing an order.
  • Credits, exchanges or refunds can only be granted after the product has been returned and inspected (and tested) by trained technical staff to determine if the condition of the returned product grants a credit, refund or exchange. Items cannot be credited, exchanged or refunded before this procedure has been completed. Depending on the product and our supplier, it may take any time from 5-20 working days to process.
  • A delivery fee will be charged again whenever the product is replaced with the same or another.
  • If an out-of-box defect can be determined or any defects covered under the manufacturer\'s warrantee, such warrantee will be honored.

SON SOUND adheres to the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa and will base any return on the statutes of the Act.
