The BTB’s extra-long 35-inch neck scale offers tight, even tension with no flopping on the low end, and added sustain on the high strings. It also provides superior articulation, making it perfect for 7-string.

BTB7 9pc Maple/Panga Panga/Walnut neck-through w/Graphite reinforcement rods

The BTB7 9pc Maple, Panga Panga and Walnut neck provides tonal clarity, superior note attack, and its slim grip shape permits superior playability.

Deep Cutaway

The BTB’s much deeper cutaways allow effortless access to the upper frets.

Jatoba Fretboard

Jatoba has a reddish brown color which produces a rich mid range with a crisp high end.

Stainless steel frets

The stainless steel frets are known for their bright tone, and they add player-friendly features, such as long durability and a smoothness to bend on.

Zero fret

A “zero” fret provides accurate intonation, while allowing open strings to ring with the same resonance as notes played up the neck.

Bartolini ® BH2 pickups

The Bartolini ® BH2 pickups provide a tight bottom-end, punchy mid-range, and smooth response. The dual-coil style configuration maximizes articulation and a long blade pole piece widens the magnetic field, providing balanced string-to-string pickup response.

The Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ w/3-way mid-frequency switch offers tonal variations that enhance simple chord work as well as complex soloing.

Shipping Policy

Son Sound delivers countrywide (South Africa - not outside the borders of South Africa), at the shipping rates charged in the shopping cart/checkout - depending on the item(s) and order. Please provide your delivery address on checkout. All deliveries will be booked on economy road freight, which means 2-5 business days delivery from date of order - depending on your location.

We will always endeavor to offer our customers the best price and offer to match any written quote cheaper than our price for the exact same product, not older than 7 days given by a local company (or as advertised on their website), provided that we have such product in stock at that time.

Refund Policy

Due to the vast number of products on our store, it is not possible to keep al prices and availability up to date. Therefore, customers are prompted to first confirm prices and availability before placing an order and making an online payment.

SON SOUND will either give a store credit, exchange or refund on any online purchase within 7 days under the following terms and conditions:

If a product\'s price has changed or not available and an order was placed and paid online without the customer confirming the latest price and availability, SON SOUND will refund the customer the full paid amount MINUS 3.5% up to 5% (depending on the payment method the customer used) - which is the service fee charged by our payment gateway provider.
If the product was delivered and the customer is not happy with the product, the product must be returned at the customer\'s expense, upon which SON SOUND will accept the return provided that the product packaging has not been severely damaged and the product has not been used, installed or show physical damages. Products must be returned in its original packaging. Three and a half percent (3.5%) of the purchase price will be deducted if payment was made online as payment gateway service fee.
Software products cannot be exchanged or refunded.
Products will not be refunded or exchanged due to incompatibility. Please check compatibility information before placing an order.
Credits, exchanges or refunds can only be granted after the product has been returned and inspected (and tested) by trained technical staff to determine if the condition of the returned product grants a credit, refund or exchange. Items cannot be credited, exchanged or refunded before this procedure has been completed. Depending on the product and our supplier, it may take any time from 5-20 working days to process.
A delivery fee will be charged again whenever the product is replaced with the same or another.
If an out-of-box defect can be determined or any defects covered under the manufacturer\'s warrantee, such warrantee will be honored.

SON SOUND adheres to the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa and will base any return on the statutes of the Act.
