Each full-range RFC driver is capable of handling high SPL and power. The high excursion RCF woofer provides enough punch to shake a dancefloor, whilst the bass-reflex port design reduces distortion. Thanks to the 1400W on-board amps, the EVOX J8 offers huge sound with high efficiency. That means ultra-fast attack, realistic transient response, and superb audio performance. FiRPHASE filtering technology

The next generation in digital processing. The EVOX J8 is designed using FiRPHASE, delivering transparent sound, clarity, and perfect stereo images to the listener. This bespoke filtering technology provides the best sound possible, optimising dynamics, amplitude, and phase patterns. By taking accurate measurements of the loudspeaker phase, the FiRPHASE algorithm adapts the loudspeaker without touching the amplitude equalisation. In short, you’ll get accurate sound at any volume.

Integrated digital signal processing

Sculpt the perfect sound. The EVOX J8 features built-in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) for improved performance, including an EQ switch and limiter circuit. Dial your EQ with “flat” and “boost” options. The “boost” setting is recommended for background music applications, adding much-needed colour to the sound when used at low volume levels. For all other purposes, the “flat” setting is ideal, offering a neutral frequency response for unparalleled natural sound reproduction. This is live sound like you’ve never experienced before.

Shipping Policy

Son Sound delivers countrywide (South Africa - not outside the borders of South Africa), at the shipping rates charged in the shopping cart/checkout - depending on the item(s) and order. Please provide your delivery address on checkout. All deliveries will be booked on economy road freight, which means 2-5 business days delivery from date of order - depending on your location.

We are committed to our customers in providing great value, quality, advice and service. We will always endeavor to offer our customers the best price and offer to match any written quote cheaper than our price for the exact same product, not older than 7 days given by a local company (or as advertised on their website), provided that we have such product in stock at that time.

Refund Policy

Due to the vast number of products on our store, it is not possible to keep al prices and availability up to date. Therefore, customers are prompted to first confirm prices and availability before placing an order and making an online payment.

SON SOUND will either give a store credit, exchange or refund on any online purchase within 7 days under the following terms and conditions:

If a product\'s price has changed or not available and an order was placed and paid online without the customer confirming the latest price and availability, SON SOUND will refund the customer the full paid amount MINUS 3.5% up to 5% (depending on the payment method the customer used) - which is the service fee charged by our payment gateway provider.
If the product was delivered and the customer is not happy with the product, the product must be returned at the customer\'s expense, upon which SON SOUND will accept the return provided that the product packaging has not been severely damaged and the product has not been used, installed or show physical damages. Products must be returned in its original packaging. Three and a half percent (3.5%) of the purchase price will be deducted if payment was made online as payment gateway service fee.
Software products cannot be exchanged or refunded.
Products will not be refunded or exchanged due to incompatibility. Please check compatibility information before placing an order.
Credits, exchanges or refunds can only be granted after the product has been returned and inspected (and tested) by trained technical staff to determine if the condition of the returned product grants a credit, refund or exchange. Items cannot be credited, exchanged or refunded before this procedure has been completed. Depending on the product and our supplier, it may take any time from 5-20 working days to process.
A delivery fee will be charged again whenever the product is replaced with the same or another.
If an out-of-box defect can be determined or any defects covered under the manufacturer\'s warrantee, such warrantee will be honored.

SON SOUND adheres to the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa and will base any return on the statutes of the Act.
