The S5527QFX is a seven string S series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 2014. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.
The S5527QFX features a quilted maple top on a mahogany body bolted to a maple and wenge Wizard-7 neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and offset dot position markers. Components include dual Ibanez Vintage humbucking pickups, a Gibraltar Standard II fixed bridge, a Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut and Gotoh locking tuning machines.
The S5521Q is a similar six string model. The S5527 is similar, but lacks the exotic quilted maple top. A similar eight-string model with a limba wood top is the S5528LW.
